Entrepreneurship (For Business and Industrial Engineering Majors Only) Minor

This is an interdisciplinary entrepreneurship minor available to all USF Business and Industrial Engineering majors. This minor prepares graduates to enter their chosen major area of concentration in a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit positions. Students will demonstrate professional competencies in opportunity assessment, business planning, critical thinking, and the development and launch of new products and services.

Minor Requirements


For Business and Industrial Engineering majors only. The minor requires a total of 12 credit hours.

GPA Requirements


A GPA of 2.0 or better must be achieved in the course work at USF and in all minor courses completed at other institutions.

Residency Requirement


At least nine (9) hours of the required 12 credit hours must be taken in residence at USF Tampa.
