    This course will introduce and reinforce principles of human error and patient safety within healthcare settings. The students will engage in activities that analyze, discuss, and provide recommendations for solutions to patient safety problems. Students will have opportunities to conduct an incident investigation, gain an understanding of the advantages and limitations of error reporting, learn how to disclose errors and adverse events, and learn models for improving safety in various health care settings.
