MDE 8044 International Medical Spanish/Cultural Immersion in the Clinical Setting

This course will be conducted in a Latin American country. It is designed to provide medical students an opportunity to learn and/or improve conversational medical Spanish and to experience the culture of a Latin American country. It is expected that this experience will allow students to appropriately interact in the clinical setting with Spanish speaking patients abroad and in the USA. It is designed to increase the student’s functional language skills.
