GLY 2100 - History of Life Credit(s): 3 This course has several objectives. It is an introduction not only to basic scientific concepts in geology and evolutionary theory but, perhaps more importantly, to science as a way of understanding the world around you and finding answers to big questions. This course affords students the ability to critically examine and evaluate the principles of the scientific method, model construction, and use the scientific method to explain natural experiences and phenomena.
