COM 2000 - Introduction to Communication Credit(s): 3 Introduction to the roles, contexts, and issues in contemporary human communication. This course is intended to introduce students to major communication concepts, theories, processes and research and prepare them to develop effective oral, written, and electronic communication skills. This course affords students the ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to write clearly and engage in public speaking.
