CLT 2374 - Gods Heroes and Monsters in the Ancient World

Classical mythology surveys the myths, legends, and sagas of the Greeks and Romans chronologically (c. 1200 BCE to 17 CE) and thematically, through literature (prose and poetry), iconography (art and architecture), and film (documentary and dramatic). This course affords students the ability to think critically and includes selections from the western canon.
