The purpose of the course is to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to plan and instruct in a high school Physical Education program which conforms to National and State of Florida content standards and guidelines. This course also includes an element of service-learning, where students will participate in an organized service activity that meets the needs of a community partner, allows students to reflect, and gain further understanding of course content.
