SPM 2019 - Issues in Sport

A study of organized sport as a pervasive part of contemporary society. By increasing understanding of some of the issues and controversies based on the structure of sport and society, individuals will be able to understand and improve sport experiences. This course affords students an understanding of the basic social and behavioral science concepts and principles used in the analysis of behavior and past and present social, political, and economic issues.
