EDG 4944 - Integrated Final Internship Credit(s): 9-12 The course guides the interns through full time student teaching in one or more schools, under the competent guidance of cooperating teachers, for one full semester at the end of the program of study. It is during this period that the intern devotes a major portion of the program to taking an active part in actual classroom experiences. The intern participates by observing, teaching, and evaluating the same activities as the cooperating teacher. The undergraduate final intern will spend eight weeks under the supervision of an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher and eight weeks with an Elementary Education classroom teacher.
