MUT 1212 - Popular Music Theory II

This course develops sight-singing; rhythm reading; and melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic dictation skills used in the popular music idiom including influential techniques from global influences. This is an intermediate/advanced course in Popular Music Theory that follows Popular Music Theory I. Students will engage with music theory as it is found in popular music genres.
