Mass Communications Minor

The minor in Mass Communications is available to students pursuing any other major at USF.
|
Minor Requirements
The minor in Mass Communications requires a minimum of 18 hours of School coursework.
Total Minor Credit Hours: 18
Minor Core Credit Hours: 6
Minor Elective Credit Hours: 12
- Twelve (12) hours may be selected from among School offerings and must include a minimum of nine (9) hours at the 3000-level or higher.
- Any course with a prefix of: MMC, ADV, JOU, PGY, PUR, RTV, VIC
GPA Requirement
A 2.5 GPA in all minor coursework must be maintained.
Grading Requirements
A grade of “D” or “F” will not be counted toward a Mass Communications minor.
Other Requirements
All major course prerequisites must be met.
Students who wish to minor must apply for admission to the Zimmerman School of Advertising & Mass Communications and must meet all admission standards required of majors. Please see the Major in Mass Communications for more admission information.
