The minor in Public Service and Leadership provides an introduction to career opportunities in public service for students from all academic disciplines. It is a smart choice for any student considering future employment in the public sector, as well as for those who would like to “give back” and “make a difference” in their careers.

Minor Requirements
The minor in Public Service and Leadership consists of 15 credit hours.
Minor Core (9 Credit Hours)
Minor Electives (6 Credit Hours)
Select six (6) credit hours from the following list: GPA Requirements
Minor GPA (all USF courses which are applied to minor requirements): 2.0
Grading Requirements
Only courses in which a grade of “C-” or better is attained will count toward the minimum hours.
Residency Requirements
A minor in Public Service and Leadership consists of a minimum of 15 credit hours, at least 12 of which must be USF credits.
