Health Care Administration Minor

This minor is open to students from all colleges.

To qualify for the Healthcare Administration Minor, students must successfully complete a minimum of fifteen (15) semester hours in Healthcare Administration coursework (nine (9) credit hours of required courses and six (6) credit hours of elective courses). A statement attesting to the completion of the Minor in Healthcare Administration will appear on the student’s official transcript.

Non-College of Business Students

To avoid unnecessary delays, it is strongly recommended that Non-Business majors take ECO 2023 - Principles of Microeconomics to fulfill the TGEC - Creative Thinking requirement (Enhanced General Education) as this course is a pre-requisite for the required course, ECP 3530 - Economics of Health .

GPA Requirements

A grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher must be achieved in the coursework for the minor.

Grading Requirements

No grade below a C- will be accepted for the major and concentration coursework.
