TOTAL MINOR HOURS: 12
This minor is a result of the growing enrollment and interest in Hospitality Management on all three campuses. It is modeled after the 12-credit Muma College of Business Management minor. There will be three core classes and an elective class for the students to select from. The three core classes will provide a solid foundation to the hospitality management curriculum and the student will have an opportunity to elect the last course of their choice.
The mission of the Hospitality Management Minor is to empower the students to describe and analyze the sectors of the hospitality and tourism industry. Upon graduation, Hospitality Management Minor students will be able to do the following:
- Describe the various sectors and characteristics of the hospitality industry.
- Analyze the operations related to the lodging and restaurant industries.
