MUL 2560 - Chamber Music Literature I

This course covers the standard chamber music repertoire for piano and strings. Each class will focus on specific chamber works – from the baroque sonata until major 20th and 21st century pieces. Students will examine not only historical, but also stylistic and performance issues for each work. Regular class performances and “chamber music readings” will be expected from all students.
