HSA 4392 - From Public Health Data to Information and Decision Making

Decision making tools aid in the identification and understanding of factors required for optimizing effective decision making.  Statistics is one such tool to extract information from data and enhance evidence-based, informed, decision making, maximizing the likelihood of success.  The objective of this course is to provide students with a set of data representation and statistical tools which they understand and are able to apply in real world settings, using a widely used and readily available spreadsheet program.

Prerequisite(s): STA 2023  (min grade C) OR PHC 4069  (min grade C)
