ANT 4183C - Archaeological Science Credit(s): 4 This course focuses on the application of scientific methods of analysis to archaeological materials including bone, stone, pottery, and metal. Methods include absolute dating, remote sensing, optical and SEM microscopy, elemental and isotope analysis. Laboratory sections provide hands-on experience with a variety of archaeological materials and analytical methods.
Prerequisite(s): ANT 3101 (min grade C-)
