ISM 4542 - Statistical Programming for Business Analytics Credit(s): 3 This course will give you a background in fundamental statistics and introduce you to statistical programming in R. We will begin with a review of basic concepts, measures of central tendency and dispersion, and probability distributions. Afterward the course will concentrate on confidence intervals, hypothesis tests, regression, correlation, logistic regression, analysis of variance, and fundamentals of mathematical optimization.The emphasis will be on applications, concepts and interpretation of results, rather than derivations and calculations.
Prerequisite(s): ISM 4212 (min grade C) AND ISM 4641 (min grade C)
