ASL 2140C - American Sign Language I

This course will introduce basic skills in production and comprehension, including the manual alphabet and numbers, of American Sign Language (ASL) as used by the Deaf community. This course will introduce conversational norms, culturally appropriate behaviors, and use of basic grammar concepts. One hour of laboratory course work is included.
