ASL 2300 - Linguistics of ASL Credit(s): 3 This course will introduce the major linguistic structures of American Sign Language (ASL); focusing on features unique to ASL in the categories of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. This course provides opportunities to analyze ASL texts and apply concepts discussed to ASL production.
Prerequisite(s): ASL 2160 with a minimum grade of C or better
