SOW 3210 - The American Social Welfare System

This introductory course is the first of two social welfare policy and services courses in the BSW program. These courses are designed to develop the policy knowledge base and skills necessary for BSW students to engage in the advocacy process leading to evidence-based policies that promote social and economic justice for diverse, vulnerable and oppressed groups.
