HFT 4701 - Sustainable Tourism Practices Credit(s): 3 This course explores the global, national, regional, and local fields of sustainable tourism. The triple bottom line will be the primary perspective used to evaluate tourism and its impact on culture, environment, and economy, including the supply chains of tourism, agritourism, pro-poor tourism, and the sharing economy. Global organizations that set the standards for sustainable tourism including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are discussed.
