PHY 2049 - General Physics II - Calculus Based Credit(s): 3 Second semester of calculus based general physics. Topics studied include wave mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and optics. This course affords students the ability to critically examine and evaluate the principles of the scientific method, model construction, and use the scientific method to explain natural experiences and phenomena.

Other Information: Must be taken concurrently with lab and, if dropped, then dropped simultaneously. May not receive credit for both the PHY 2054 and PHY 2049 courses.
