EEX 4942 - Practicum in Exceptional Teacher Candidate Education

Credit(s): 1-4
This practicum/professional seminar provides students an opportunity to connect personal experiences, university coursework, and field experiences in order to develop a broader understanding of the context of schooling within the United States. This pro-seminar focuses on issues of self and self-awareness. The purpose of this seminar is to allow you to reflect upon your development as an emerging educator. Furthermore, this seminar will enable you to think beyond “self” to the community, available resources and the needs of your school population. We believe that self-knowledge, personal growth and service are important in helping you transition from a pre-service teacher candidate to an effective globally aware educator.

Prerequisite(s): EEX 4202 , EEX 4942 , EEX 4240 , EEX 4241 .
