Biomedical Physics Minor

The minor in Biomedical Physics combines the fundamental knowledge of physics acquired through the General Physics course sequence with applications covering a wide spectrum of topics of interest to students pursuing a future clinical or research career in biology, medicine, and other related areas.

Minor Requirements: 16
A minor in Biomedical Physics consists of 16 credit hours.
Minor Core Credit Hours: 16
*NOTE: PHY 2060 may substitute for PHY 2048, and PHY 2061 may substitute for PHY 2049
GPA Requirement
A minimum 2.0 GPA average in the 16 credit hours is required for obtaining this minor.
Grading Requirement
A “C-” is the minimum acceptable grade for any course in the minor.
