International Business Minor

The minor in International Business provides business students the opportunity to study international topics related to Finance, Global Information Systems, Management, Marketing, and Global Perspectives. This minor prepares students to work in an internationally diverse work force or employment abroad.

Minor Requirements
The minor in International Business is available to all students in the Muma College of Business.
Total Minor Credit Hours: 12
Minor Core (12 credit hours)
Required Courses (6 credit hours)
Plus any 2 of the following (6 total credit hours)
GPA Requirements
A grade point average of 2.00 or better must be achieved in the minor coursework and in all minor courses completed at other institutions.
Grading Requirements
Students are required to earn a “C” or higher in International Business courses that are counted toward the minor requirements.
Residency Requirement
Students must take nine (9) of the 12 hours required in residency at USF.
Other Recommendations
Competency to effectively communicate in a foreign language is strongly advised.
Other Information - Muma College of Business
When earning a second degree, double major or concurrent degree, the Major Core and Major Elective/Concentration areas of the degree audit must not overlap for both degrees. When earning a Business Minor AND Business Major, no courses may overlap.
