Sales for Business Majors Minor

Regardless of your major, sales and selling are critical to achieving your career and life goals. Students who obtain the Sales Minor will become familiar with the tools and techniques to advocate for a proposal, address concerns, create demand for products and services, generate revenue, and manage sales teams.

MINOR REQUIREMENTS


The Sales Minor for Business Majors is available to all Muma College of Business Undergraduate students, except those with a Marketing major.

Total Minor Credit Hours: 12


Minor Core Courses: 3 courses; 9 credit hours


The following three courses are required for the Sales Minor for Business Majors.

Minor Elective Course: 1 course; 3 credit hours


Select one (1) course from the following list or another approved Marketing elective.

GPA Requirements


A GPA of 2.0 or better must be achieved in the minor course work at USF and in all minor courses completed at other institutions.

Grading Requirements


A grade of C (not C-) or higher is required in all minor coursework.  

Residency Requirements


Students must take 9 of the 12 credits hours for the minor must be taken at USF.

Other Information - Muma College of Business


When earning a second degree, double major or concurrent degree, the Major Core and Major Elective/Concentration areas of the degree audit must not overlap for both degrees. When earning a Business Minor AND Business Major, no courses may overlap.
