PHA 6531 Clinical Toxicology

Credit Hours: 2

This course will focus on the basic principles of toxicology, application to the potential health hazards and risks associated with toxic exposure. The goal of the course is to review the specialized areas of toxicology with emphasis on the dose-toxic response relationship, risk assessment strategy, target organ and non-organ toxicity mechanisms, and management of poisoned patients.
