This course provides an overview of the components of language, linking them to methods and techniques of providing comprehensible instruction to English learners (ELs) and supports the development of professional literacy skills. Designed for pre-service and in-service teachers, this course supports the development of literacy skills geared toward appropriate pedagogical practices for the instruction of ELs in the U.S.
