MDE 8455 AIDS - Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome

The senior medical student will participate in both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties involving HIV-infected children and adolescents. The student will perform history and physical examinations on infants born to infected mothers and on HIV-infected children. Diagnostic and therapeutic programs will be executed with the supervision of the pediatric infectious diseases faculty.
