EEE 6397 Bipolar Junction and Field-Effect Transistor Fundamentals

Credit Hours: 1

This course uses Physics and materials foundations to describe the formation and operation of transistors. Bipolar transistors are discussed in terms of the mechanisms that arise when two junctions are combined. Field-Effect transistors have a variety of architectures and resulting performance attributes. The fundaments of two of these, the JFET and MOSFET, are presented.
