CCJ 6506 Juvenile Delinquency


Credit Hours: 3

This course is a comprehensive overview of juvenile delinquency. It explores the various theories of delinquent behavior and the intersection of gender, race/ethnicity and class. It also provides information about the juvenile justice system and how juvenile offenders are legally processed and treated. In addition, policy issues are examined, along with recommendations for change.
