SOP 7415 Stereotypes and Prejudice Credit Hours: 3
Seminar on the social psychology of stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination, covering classic and contemporary theories and findings. Topics include links among stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination; automatic and controlled processing; systemic forms of inequity; intersectionality; effects of bias on its targets; and ways of overcoming bias.
