OCB 6566 Zooplankton Ecology


Credit Hours: 3

This course will focus on the critical role of zooplankton in marine ecosystems and global biogeochemical cycles. Zooplankton include the larval stages of many commercially important shellfish and fish. Topics include the morphology, sampling methodology, physiology, behavior, ecology, population dynamics, role in biogeochemical cycles, and impacts of climate change for diverse zooplankton taxa.
