RAT 6616 Medical Imaging


Credit Hours: 3

This course covers mathematical and physical principles of medical imaging. Students will learn fundamental aspects of radiography, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, nuclear medicine imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound imaging. Relevant aspects of the history, quality assurance, safety, applications and biological effects of these medical imaging modalities will also be covered.
