SOW 6607 Women’s Mental Health


Credit Hours: 3

This graduate course examines women’s mental health and substance use from a social work perspective. Students explore research, gain skills in assessments and interventions, and address ethical and cultural challenges in serving women, especially those with trauma histories. There is an emphasis on applying social work values that meet women’s needs.
