SOW 6355 Introduction to Psychopharmacology in Social Work Practice

This course, designed for social workers, offers an introduction to psychotropic drugs. It covers the historical development, major classes, and latest developments and uses of psychotropics. Focus is on enhancing students practice knowledge, collaboration with prescribing professionals, capacity to work ethically in multidisciplinary teams, and maximizing clients’ health outcomes.
