PHC 7738 Data Science for Public Health Credit Hours: 3
This course provides an introduction to basic machine learning and data science tools for public health and biomedical data analyses. Topics include model selection and evaluation, feature selection, generalized linear models, and traditional supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods, including decision trees, random forest, support vector machines, and neural networks.
