JOU 6309 Data Journalism and Social Media

Covers the fundamentals of data journalism skills and knowledge centering on social media. Students will learn essential concepts and practices of compelling data journalism and narratives. Throughout the semester, students will learn social network theory and conduct social media analysis to apply them to write data-driven news stories.
