GMS 6868 Applied Bioinformatics Credit Hours: 3
This computer lab-based course covers the basics of techniques in biomedical data analysis. The goal is to provide experience with frequently used computational and bioinformatics tools and databases. Focus is on open-source software and publicly available web tools and databases related to molecular biology, genomics, and proteomics, their algorithm basics, and evaluation of analysis results.
