MHS 6338 Post-Secondary Access Counseling for School Counselors Credit Hours: 3
Provides systematic training in counseling K-12 students to transition to post-secondary settings. Topics address inequities in college access, post-secondary and vocational planning, organizing a college counseling office, developing a post-secondary culture, college admissions criteria, financial aid and scholarships, and advocacy in post-secondary access for underrepresented minority students.
