MMC 6306 Global Media Credit Hours: 3
This course examines theoretical approaches for researching global media systems, including government use of media, foreign policy goals, globalization, new technologies, international propaganda, and political economy of international media organizations. Consideration of global media as a transnational system will explore how international communications impacts policy and engages audiences.
