MMC 6400 Media, Strategy, and Theory


Credit Hours: 3

This course provides an overview of the theory and research for advanced studies in mass communication. Students are introduced to the influence of mass communication on individuals, groups, and society. The course adopts an integrated approach to media use and effects with theories of persuasion and strategic communication to consider media across multiple communication contexts and agendas.
