BMS 7663C Pathologic Anatomy (Autopsies & Surgical Pathology)

The objective of this course is to strengthen the students in areas of anatomic pathology relevant to the practice of clinical medicine. The student will observe the daily activities of laboratory technicians and pathologist’s assistants, attend autopsies, and examine surgical specimens under supervision. He/she will be expected to attend all pathology conferences and participate in microscopic sign-out sessions. Particular attention will be given to correlation between clinical information and pathologic findings.
