MDE 8764 Elective in Nuclear Medicine

Nuclear medicine is a specialty that provides physiologic imaging of a wide variety of organ systems using a radioisotope bound to an organ-specific carrier molecule. These images are often complimentary to those obtained with anatomic modalities such as CT and MRI.
