Credit Hours: 3
This discusses the victim’s role in the criminal justice process, theories of victimology, and the victim-offender relationships, with a focus on physical, and emotional harm victims suffer. Emphasis is placed on the psychological and emotional detriments associated with victimization as a child (i.e. child maltreatment and abuse) and its’ relationship to future victimization and perpetration.
