Audiological Foundations Minor

TOTAL MINOR HOURS: 15
The Audiologic Foundation minor is designed to provide an introduction to the science and methods behind the field of audiology. It is open to all students, but the minor is particularly useful for those who are interested in applying to a graduate program in audiology (Au.D).

Minor Requirements: 15 Credit Hours
This is a 3-semester, 15 credit hour minor. It is open to all majors. Minor Core Courses: 4 courses; 12 credit hours
Note that SPA 3310 is a pre-req for SPA 4321, and SPA 3030 is a pre-req for SPA 3310 Minor Elective: 1 course; 3 credit hours
Choose at least 1 of the following courses: GPA Requirements
Students in the Audiological Foundations minor must maintain 2.0 grade point average. Grading Requirements
A minimum grade of C- is required for all courses. Additional Information
Students must complete a minimum of 6 credits and two courses exclusive to the minor that will not count toward the student’s major or other minors. These credits/courses must be completed at USF and must be upper level courses. Additionally, a maximum of 3 credits of S/U coursework may be counted toward the minor. Advising Information
